The robo-roach’s ability is to control the power of its tiny catapult mechanism and time its launch so it makes the jump. It can control its trajectory by adjusting both its crawling speed and its jumping take-off speed. The robot has a jumping module with enhanced energy storing-capacity and a height-adjustable active trigger.
The robot is made of a height-adjustable jumping mechanism that is integrated with a lightweight six-legged Dash crawler. JumpRoach can jump from 1.10 m to 1.62 m and crawl at a speed of 0 m/s to 0.62 m/s.
JumpRoach uses Latex in the jumping module because of its outstanding energy density compared to other materials.
The structure of the jumping module uses a diamond-shaped four-bar linkage to lengthen the latex. The diamond structure of the jumping module is located at the center of the robot, which distributes the mass distribution to reduce rotational motion when the robot jumps.
As the structure is compressed, the latex stretches and the amount of stored energy increases. The stored energy is released by decompressing the structure. The degree to which the jumping structure can be compressed depends on the range of motion of its joints. The joint can be folded and unfolded like you would see with a human knee.

.....Vertical integration is when a company combines different products and services to meet one common need. No one has mastered this better than Apple. In the early 2000s the iPod was the hottest way to consume music.
Today you will be hard press to find anyone that has an iPod, first it was iTunes on iPhones that allowed customers to purchase music direct and now it’s the music streaming service Apple Music. They essentially combined their two hottest products into one. All while branding them with their name. Apple services for Apple products. That makes the brand name much stronger. If they would have done a deal with Spotify for their music it wouldn’t have had the same effect.
@NipseyHussle famously released a $100 mixtape a few years ago. It shocked the industry but it was successful partially because it followed the vertical integration model. The $100 included the CD, merchandise and a ticket to a live performance. Instead of selling all 3 separately, he combined all three in a genius marketing move. His LA clothing store sells his apparel line and merchandise which is all tied to his music. He actually rapped a line on his last album “I’m integrated vertically.
Nipsey has the album of the DECADE in my opinion but what’s even more impressive is his ability to adapt corporate businesses models for his brand. NIPSEY YOU INSPIRED ME YEARS AGO TO BE INDEPENDENT, THEN YOU & JAY-Z INSPIRED ME TO INVEST IN CRYPTOCURRENCY, LEARN REAL ESTATE, & GENERATIONAL WEALTH etc.
Im not just a FAN, I am a STUDENT to your music, business MOand vision. You left too early, I never got to show you my app idea and what I’ve gotten so far..but I’ll get there. I have great news. Statistically, it is easier to get into an IVY LEAGUE than it is to get on at ...APPLE RECRUITED ME.. I didn’t go looking for a job.😏 it was a dream since a child, NOW its apart of my vision, stepping stones, and it’s real. I believe it was because I not only listened to my spirit, I listened and are continuously learning You, Hov, @kendricklamar and @realcoleworld . I’m a product of you guys musically and business-wise. Thank You.🏁 #ForeijnTV#intergration#Future#TheMarathonContinues
