Week 3 - Giraffe Day (Blue). 3rd and final installment of my African animal series. As you can see I couldn’t decide what colour to paint the giraffe so I did 2 version. Painted on a 20x24 inch canvas using acrylic paints. DM me for print orders. Stay tuned my Etsy shop which is coming soon.
♣~The Goddess of Fire~♣
My first nude photoshooting was photographed by a good friend of mine, a very talanted photographer #AnastasiyaLazurenko (she is even not on IG) but all her works are special!♠
All images were taken by using an old-fashioned film rangefinder camera named "Kiev". #sodope
So I didn't have a bunch of shots to work with as it is not a digital camera where you have limitless amount of tries. Plus I was holding the burning fire in my hands and posing with it was a super hot experience too. But the shooting by itself was just amazing time for me as I was posing naked with the fire prop for the first time in my life and all dusted in colden sparkles! Woke up like this that day✔
Unfortunately you cannot see the sparkles on the photos properly because all the photos are black and white. But I love this story so much. I was kind of shy to pose nude at the beginning and confused whether I should post the photos afterwards or not. But I decided it's just a crime to let them be kept only in my phone because every shot is so beautiful and special for me... So I took decision to share them with you.
What do you think of this work, guys? Your feelings? Did I cross the line where it becomes too intimate? Please, comment♠
A couple of weeks ago I sat next to this beautiful girl at church.
Whist we were speaking about the beauty of creativity she told me about how she loved Kintsugi bowls and how the Japanese repair broken pottery by using gold to seal the shattered pieces back together.
She told me how it reminded her of God restoring the broken parts of us and making us even more beautiful than we were before.
I went home and I couldn’t stop thinking about it. Then I made this heart with gold through the middle to represent how he restores us, pours the gold into those broken places and makes us whole again 💛
Side note: this piece isn’t finished with resin yet but I will keep you updated with this piece and my other pieces from the “Heaven” collection.
Announcing @josiejuggles to the @shapesummit stage!
Josie will be leading us through some history of women in Juggling, discussion around women in our present-day communities, and what a hopeful future looks like.
This hibiscus flower was created using bottle pouring technique; two bottles, to be exact. ❤💙❤
