I really need to work on timing my workouts a little better so I can actually record every exercise hehe
I find that a lot of people have trouble activating their hamstrings while doing laying curls.
Here are some cues that I follow: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
• Lift your chest up just a smidge (neutralizes your spine)
• Press your hips against the machine
• Sqqueeeeezeee your glutes and pull using your hamstrings
• Create a slight space between the machine and your knees when lifting ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I decided to train for my first bodybuilding competition in June! This has been a long time coming and I finally got the courage to just commit. There are many reasons why I'm doing this which I'll share in time. For now, I'm reflecting on how difficult this training has been so far with the strict diet and intense workout routine. I've doubted myself so many times already, but I'm thankful to my friends who have been so supportive 😭 i hope posting this will keep me accountable and force me to not back out 🤞🏼

Having a tough time getting to 405, I think 275x10 into 315x5 might be good working sets for next deadlift session.
Was doing 315 singles today. She asked me if I was doing two and I said one and she looked at the weight to see if it was heavier than normal and it wasn’t haha she’s disappointed in me 🥺 felt weak today haha
Superset 5x5 @225 squat and incline bench press.
Super sets are often confused with compound sets. .
Supersets work two DIFFERENT muscle groups, where a compound set works the same. Both are good for getting your heart rate up and pushing that muscle fatigue 🙌🏼
Got this idea from @diesels_n_barbells. Felt good, this is about 95 pounds (assuming bar is 45 like usual but not sure) might add these in to some circuit training soon 🙌🏼🙌🏼
