I USED TO THINK LIFTING WEIGHTS WAS SUPERFICIAL AND VAIN 😩... I didn’t like the gym and honestly was intimidated because I didn’t know what to do once I got there. I also had preconceived judgements about people who went to the gym and worked out. I understood why people would hike or play sports but picking up heavy things repetitively just seemed useless and boring. I also believed that you had to be pretty vain to put yourself through that for no reason other than appearance. BUT THEN I TRIED IT... 🤯fuck. I quickly realized that it was SO MUCH MORE that that! It transforms you ON THE INSIDE. It makes you mentally tougher, more disciplined, resilient, more confident, happier, better able to handle life’s challenges, ALONG with ALL the other benefits that everyone always talks about (better body, more energy, healthier, etc) I WAS HOOKED, I FELL IN LOVE 😍 and there was no going back to 💯 . . . HIT YOUR MACROS FOR BULKING by @kruckifitness - Here are some examples that can apply to your calories and macros when bulking. Let's explain how we find these numbers. - First is calories. We find this by taking your bodyweight (lbs) x 16-18. For each example, shown, we did their BW x 17. So for the 220 lb person, 210 x 17 = 3,740. So they'll eat 3,740 calories a day. - Next is protein, the easiest to explain. You simply eat 1g per pound of bodyweight. so for example, for the 220 lbs person, they'll eat 220g of protein a day. - Next is fat. Normally, anywhere from 0.35-0.5g per pound will work. To make things easy though, I entered 0.5g per pound for each example in this infographic. So for the 220 lb person, they take 22 l0 x 0.5. So they'll eat 110g of fat a day. - Last is carbs, and this can sometimes be complicated. You take the remaining calories after subtracting the calories taken from protein and fat. Here's how we find it. So for the 220lb person, they are eating 3,740 calories. There's 4 calories per gram of protein. So we take the amount of protein he's consuming and multiply it by 4. So 220 x 4 = 880 calories. There's 9 calories per gram of fat. So we take the amount of fat they're consuming and multiply it by 9. So 110 x 9 = 990 calories. So now, we take 3,740- 880 - 990, and we get 1,880 calories remaining for carbs. Predivan! Bilo nas je raznih u grupi, od 7 do 77 😊 Neki su krenuli sami, neki u paru, neki sa decom! Jedan dan u prirodi me je preporodio kao odmor od nedelju dana! Sa godinama se sve više vraćam prirodi. Ne mogu da zamislim da provodim vreme po diskotekama i kafićima kao što sam nekada činila. Mnogo nam je lepa ova planeta, treba je čuvati i sroditi se sa njom! Had one of those human moments last night that we hide from each other. - You know what I'm talking about... The skip the run and head to Wawa instead for all if the chocolate things. Because poison ivy, heart burn, yada yada honestly... excuses (not the "it's ok to rest and splurge and be kind to yourself" moments - and it is important to recognize the difference). - But here's what my #personalchallenge taught me... Get back on track. And I did it as I was finishing off the Mallow cups. The plan = go for a run in the woods in the am. Reconnect my feet to the ground and blindly follow wandering trails. Do something I love. Set the intention for the day. Make sure to my vitamins that I've been neglecting. Evidemment la musculation m'apporte une meilleure estime de moi, la satisfaction de m'améliorer à chaque séance même si je me galère. La possibilité de sortir de ma zone de confort aussi bien sur le plan physique que moral. J'ai une vie active mais tout est une question d'organisation et zéro excuse. Bien sur je me muscle, je perds du poids et bien évidemment j'aime m'entraîner en solo, avec les amis mais surtout avec @mrnobody__95 .
