I’m just over here on a mission to love my body and all its imperfections 💞 that includes this crazy mess of 🦁 hair!
Most of you’ve noticed I’ve been letting my hair go natural and not straightening it. I’ve been straightening my hair since I was 12 so letting it go natural has not been easy but I’m really trying to embrace my curls and the natural look.
If you know of any good hair products for curly/wavy hair with some type of smoothing or frizz control 🌪 please let me know in the comments! Your girl needs help 🤣 seriously!
Happy #humpday babes 🍑 we are almost there!

The last few days of 2018 were spent reflecting on everything that has happened over these past 12 months. 2018 has been such an incredible year of growth and change both personally and professionally and I have learned so much about myself and others. It's been a little over a year since I started my blog and it brings me great joy to know that my personal journey has been inspiring others. It has been a freeing experience and the creative outlet that I truly needed. When I look back at this year I am proud of my work and the content I have created. I am so grateful for each and every person that has been supporting me on this journey it truly means the world to me, and I thank you! Practicing the art of letting go seemed to be a big theme for 2018 as I continued to let go of physical weight, emotional baggage, and a few long-term friendships that were just not good for my spirit. Letting go of people in your life always hurts, but it freed up my energy and made room for some incredible new relationships. 2019 is already filled with so many amazing possibilities! January 10th I start my 200hr Yoga teacher training. I am both excited and nervous for this spiritual and physical journey that I am about to embark on. These next 4 months are going to be pretty intense, but I can’t wait to teach and share with others something that has brought such profound change and joy to my life. Welcome 2019… can’t wait to see what unfolds in this curvy world. (Modified to be able to reshare)
Hello spring! Some people think of it and see fresh flowers and vacations.
For me it means games under lights and a car full of sports gear. It also means soccer turf in my car mats and meals on the go.
Most days we are on the go from 5am - 9:30pm. I’m not gonna lie...it’s only week 2 and I’m already T-I-R-E-D!
I’m not complaining! I’m more than happy to do it because my kids love it. It just means I need to be even more picky about what I say yes to. As a people pleaser that’s hard but I’ve leaned over the years I need to set limits otherwise I’ll bust!
So tell me, what’s on tap for your spring season this year? Are you planning a fabulous trip or will you be spending it running around with the kiddos like me?
