Hi, my name is Marina, aka @Blackberrytrees and I’ve been in Vancouver for over 7 years. And I’m in the know of Mount Pleasant’s hot spots and best vegan foods. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I have a passion for environmental sustainability that led me to plant based eating and all my travel photos are pics of my meals 😆 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’d love to know fave vegan spot in Vancouver, comment below ⤵️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Happy International Day of Forests. Where can you spend a tranquil few days in a local forest - Wildwood, of course. The homestead is available for booking on the website or through Airbnb. Of course Wildwood is not just a forest, it is the best know example of ecoforestry on the west coast of North America. Old growth Douglas Fir maintained on a property that is sustainably harvested. This is the future of forestry. #oldgrowth#internationaldayofforests#airbnb#nanaimo#ladysmith#beautifulbc#ecovacation#savetheplanet#relax
I can remember looking at each of my children when they were just a few weeks old and trying to imagine what kind of kids they would grow into. Picturing them as adults was completely impossible, and still is, but I knew I didn't want to miss a second of the early years. I strongly believed staying home with my kids while they were young would really be best for their growth. Every day I am so thankful for the adventures we get to have together. For not having to miss a single moment as they learn and discover this 🌎 and how they fit into it. Being a stay at home mom can be emotionally exhausting but there is no place I'd rather be ❤

Celebrate the International Day of Forests today by exploring the wonderful world of the woods!
#tbt Hill repeats on tap tonight make me miss sweet PNW things and views like this...but I wouldn’t change this life change for the world. Dreadmill it is because my go-to bridge isn’t long enough for 3’ efforts...
The Eastside Local Card is an initiative by Exchange Inner City. It's a free card for local residents, intended for low-income community members. The program provides a way for local businesses to help our neighbourhood remain accessible and inclusive. Participating businesses provide special discounts or incentives or something as simple as a sense of welcome in their establishment, as ways to connect with local residents. Businesses can get creative with the concept and choose how they participate in the program. Shout out to the Strathcona businesses who already offer incentives for Local cardholders, including @theuncommoncafe , @lanalous, @havecafe , @powellstreetsalon, and the @ugmvancouver Thrift Store! If you are an Eastside business looking for an opportunity to directly improve the lives of local community members, you can learn more about how to participate at https://localcard.ca/
